Invasive and noninvasive neuromodulation techniques for the treatment of various pathologies.

What is global neuromulation?

Global neuromodulation is a combination of neuromodulation techniques, both invasive and non-invasive, which allows the qualified healthcare professional to treat pathologies by intervening in the functioning of the peripheral and central nervous system.

Transcranial electrical stimulation by direct current is a non-invasive and painless brain neuromodulation technique that consists of the application of a low intensity galvanic current on the patient’s scalp.

TMS is a non-invasive cerebral neuromodulation technique that modifies brain activity using magnetic fields, which in turn generate an electric field in the area to be treated, producing neuronal depolarization.

EPTE® Percutaneous Therapeutic Electrolysis is a revolutionary technique for the treatment of different musculoskeletal dysfunctions, being its main application in its beginnings, but not the only one, the tendon dysfunction.

This technique consists of the percutaneous application through a needle of a low or high frequency TENS type current, with the objective of achieving therapeutic effects by crossing the skin barrier, which allows to act in a more direct way on this system.

Among the patients that I have successfully recovered thanks to EPTE® there is a young man who, after suffering an accident, presented (for 4 years) severe pain in one shoulder that reduced his mobility. After a session with the EPTE® the pain subsided. After a second session and together with the eccentric exercises, the patient recovered 100%.
